Anmol relocated from Singapore to Bangkok in 2018 to head up Standard International’s development efforts across the Middle-East and Asia-Pacific regions at the Group’s Middle-East & Asia-Pacific HQ. Overseeing the expansion of Standard International’s Brands – Standard Hotels and Bunkhouse Hotels, the group now has planned development projects across Thailand, Australia and other key destinations. In 2019, Standard International opened 2 premier international destinations- The Standard London and The Standard Huruvalhi, Maldives, the first Island Escape in the Asia- Pacific marking Standard’s entry into the market and showcasing its unique take on hospitality with a strong focus on design and experiential elements. Anmol was previously with Dubai-based Jumeirah Group and Singapore-based Park Hotels Group tasked with development activities across the respective regions.
Standard International currently has 15 operating properties under both the Standard and Bunkhouse Brands and a pipeline of more than 12 hotels & resorts in new and exciting destinations under
the Standard Brand.
Director, Development, SEA & Korea
Bryan joined InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) in 2014 and is currently Director, Development for IHG in South East Asia & Korea. Bryan is based in Singapore and has a strong focus on the various Southeast Asian and Korean markets, both for city hotels and resorts.
At IHG, Bryan has worked on hotels and resorts across numerous jurisdictions and brands. Notable achievements include having launched the Holiday Inn brand in Vietnam and Holiday Inn Express brand in Malaysia.
Prior to joining IHG, Bryan worked in project & structured finance at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) in Singapore, and prior to that at Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division in Hong Kong.
Bryan has an M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelors in Business Administration and Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley. In his free time, Bryan enjoys travelling, the outdoors, and has a private pilot license.
